Catching the Christmas Crazies, Mercury Retrograde, and a Whole Lot of F*ckery

Hey Gorgeous One,
Let’s talk about the absolute chaos in the air right now. Between the Christmas crazies, Mercury retrograde doing its classic backspin, and the collective energy being one giant ball of WTF—well, let’s just say, I’m feeling it. If you are too, you’re not alone.
It’s like we’re all sprinting toward the finish line of the year with a broken shoe and a half-empty coffee cup. And let’s be real: if I don’t hit pause, I’ll be Cinderella, post-midnight, turning into a pumpkin with zero fairy godmother in sight. Burnout central, population: ME.
So, here’s the plan: I’m taking a day. One bloody day to ground myself, switch the F off, and let the world keep spinning without me for a hot minute. Because, darling, the energy out there is NOT my problem to solve. It’s about coming back to center before I completely combust.
How I’m Resetting:
1. Grounding My Nervous System:
• Turning off the phone (yes, even the notifications—deep breaths).
• Doing something grounding, like a walk outside barefoot or curling up with tea and a book I actually want to read.
2. Journaling My Way Through the Chaos:
My journals are my secret weapon. They help me brain-dump the mental clutter, sort my priorities, and remind me to stay the course without spinning out of control. When my mind’s doing the Mercury-inspired hokey pokey, my journal keeps me organized and focused.
Lately, I’ve been using my “My F**k Yes! Magnificent Morning Journal” to get my head on straight each day. Writing down my intentions and small wins keeps me feeling human and helps me remember what matters (hint: it’s not the 20,000 things I feel like I should be doing).
Why This Matters:
The holiday pressure is real, and I know how easy it is to fall into the “do it all” trap. But let me remind you, gorgeous: you can’t pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself, even if it’s just one day. One day. That’s all it takes to recalibrate, breathe, and remind yourself that you’re in charge of your energy—not the other way around.
So, here’s your reminder: don’t let the Christmas crazies, Mercury madness, or anyone else’s expectations pull you off your path. Take care of YOU. Ground yourself, grab your journal, and stay in the driver’s seat of your life.
Here’s to a calm, focused, and slightly less bonkers end to the year. We’ve got this. Yeehaw! 🎄✨
With love and no-nonsense vibes,
